Group Executive and Chief Operating Officer - Bureau of Meteorology
Paula joined the Bureau of Meteorology in March 2020 and is responsible for Organisational Development, Finance, Health, Safety and Environment, Government Relations, Corporate Communication, Legal and Commercial, and Customer Relationships.
Paula has experience in leading corporate teams and supporting organisations through strategic and organisational transformations.

DR FIONA BUICK
Senior Lecturer - University of New South Wales, Canberra
Fiona’s research identifies key people management challenges within public sector organisations and how to address them. In particular, how to improve human resource practices and processes to build capacity and achieve desired outcomes.
Specific areas of focus so far have been organisational culture, performance management, middle manager capability development, machinery of government changes, employee well-being, and hybrid working.
Fiona obtained her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Management, Masters of Human Resource Management, Graduate Diploma in Employment Relations and a Bachelor of Applied Psychology, all from the University of Canberra. Prior to commencing her PhD, Fiona worked as a human resource practitioner in the Australian Public Service and Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation.

Chief Executive Officer - Reimagine HR
Trina has 25+ years of experience working in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Marketing and Events Management. She’s worked in the UK, Asia and Australia and uses her unique experiences and networks to generate and apply new HR thinking.
While a certified fellow of AHRI in acknowledgement of her contributions to the HR profession, Trina leads with passion over post-nominals and loves working with HR teams and business leaders who want to do things differently.
She has global perspectives and partnerships; a love of Cambodia, coffee and champagne; and her business Reimagine HR is all about helping people experience happiness and high performance at work.

Yvette has over 20 years of executive HR experience with some of Australia's leading public and private sector businesses including Macquarie, Westpac, Allens, APRA and Dexus.
Throughout her career Yvette has been accountable for all aspects of people strategy - succession planning, talent acquisition and executive transition, leadership development, delivering complex organisational change, successful Human Resources Information System implementation, championing inclusion and diversity, mergers and acquisitions in both mature and emerging markets, culture transformation, risk management, and employee wellbeing - with a relentless focus on improving employee experience.

With over 33 years in the industry, Tanya is a highly experienced strategic HR management consultant, with a keen passion for strategy and transformation, workforce planning and leadership development.
Tanya has worked across the Australian Government and private sector, leading HR related initiatives championing HR capability development and transformation.
Through her work at Tailored HR Solutions, she is known for her collaborative approach by partnering closely with clients to identify challenges and opportunities to create and implement innovative HR practices, businesses can benefit from a happier more engaged workforce.
When Tanya isn’t thinking about workforce planning, she is traveling the world enjoying fine wine and leading her grandchild astray!

MICHAEL NELSON
Executive Advisor - Work Rehab
Michael has been an HR professional in the public service for over 20 years. During that time, he has held SES positions in six agencies including the roles of Chief People Officer and Chief Human Resource Officer in two of the most significant Australian public institutions, in Services Australia (i.e., Centrelink, Medicare and Child Support) and Queensland Health. He has led all aspects of HR in these organisations.He has also worked in the private sector in executive leadership roles including two years as a management consultant.
Michael is currently the Executive Advisor at Work Rehab, an occupational rehabilitation provider that is rapidly expanding its service offering into the corporate health arena. Amongst many other things, Michael is currently developing a range of tools to support uplifting management capability and confidence to achieve better people outcomes. He is passionate about employee engagement, health and wellbeing.

SARAH QUEENAN FCPHR
Founder and Managing Director - Humanify HR Consulting
As HRLP Program Facilitator, Sarah is a senior HR executive, company director and business owner. Prior to establishing Humanify HR Consulting, Sarah worked in the private and public sectors in senior HR and corporate leadership roles, responsible for enterprise-wide HR functions. As a trained lawyer, Sarah is passionate about helping clients navigate the complex Australian workplace relations system.
Sarah developed the HR Leadership in Practice (HRLP) based on her own lived experience as a senior HR leader. The HR Leadership in Practice (HRLP) provides a supportive, relevant, contemporary and accessible leadership development option for HR leaders right here in Australia.
When Sarah isn’t assisting clients with complex IR/HR matters, building learning programs, writing about HR or workplace relations - she enjoys spending time by the ocean, cooking and creating fun memories with friends and family.
